Hand-Fed Dominant Red YellowSided Green Cheeked Conure

Green cheeked conures make for great pets as their very affectionate and playful birds. They can learn to mimic words and sounds! (They’re not as loud as other parrots are.) They are social animals and require attention everyday, they like to be held or perched on your hands or shoulders. They’re smart birds and can be taught tricks ! 
As they’ve been hand-fed from around 3 weeks of age, this gives them a very good jump start at being social and can hopefully adjust to a new home as quickly as possible. 
Each bird is different on their adjust time, but the rule of thumb is that the more time you spend with your birdie, the sooner they will learn to trust you! 
This bird carries the Dominant Red mutation, which is characterized by a significant amount of red coloration, It also has the Yellow Sided mutation, which features yellow feathers up the legs and side of the bird. 
Size: around 10” in length and weigh 60-80grams
Diet: A high-quality pellets (75-80%), supplemented daily with fresh chopped vegetables (leafy greens, carrots, broccoli) and small amounts of fruit (berries, melon) for vitamins, with seeds/nuts as occasional treats. Always provide fresh water daily.
